1. General information
1.1. Objectives of the subject
The subject and its expected results respond to the following approaches and objectives:
ORDER CIN/2135/2008, of July 3, 2008, which establishes the requirements for the verification of official university degrees that enable the practice of the profession of Physiotherapist indicates that it will be necessary to present
And defend before the University board of examiners a Degree Final Project, consisting of an exercise of integration of the received training contents and acquired competences
These approaches and objectives are aligned with the following Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda of the United Nations (https://www.un.org/sustainabledevelopment/es/), so that the acquisition of the learning results of the subject provides training and competence to contribute to some extent to the achievement of Goal 3 (health and well-being)
1.2. Context and meaning of the subject in the degree program
This subject has been designed in compliance with the requirements of article 12.7 of R.D. 861/2010, which modifies R.D. 1393/2007, which establishes the organization of official university studies, which states that the degree final project will have between 6 and 30 credits, must be carried out in the final phase of the study plan and must be oriented towards the evaluation of competences associated with the degree
1.3. Requirements to take the subject
Students may apply for the defence of their work with a maximum of 12 ECTS pending to be passed.
Once all of the remaining credits of the degree have been passed, the grade of the DFP will be reflected in the minutes of the corresponding call and always before the last school day of December of that year. If this is not the case, the student will have to re-enrol.
2. Learning results
2.1. Learning Results
The student, in order to pass this subject, must demonstrate the following results...
o Design, implement and evaluate an intervention plan in Physiotherapy, which includes the ability to make decisions and solve problems, all with a critical and integrative spirit and based on scientific evidence.
o Design planning, and quality improvement activities in physiotherapy, organization and management in the field of the profession's competences, with an ethical commitment and integrating different disciplines.
o Maintain an attitude of learning and improvement, develop organizational skills, work with responsibility, maintain a critical and scientific attitude, and collaborate and cooperate with other professionals.
2.2. Importance of learning results
Skills are acquired for the selection of information to make decisions in problem solving, all this with a critical and integrative spirit and based on scientific evidence. In addition, the design of planning and prevention activities, improvement of the quality of physiotherapeutic intervention processes, organization and management in the field of the profession's competences, with an ethical commitment integrating different disciplines, will be studied in depth.
3. Syllabus
Theoretical and practical seminars: 20 classroom hours. The contents will deal with the methodological foundations for the production of the DFP. Specifically, the following contents will be addressed: o Choice of the DFP topic.
o Design of the DFP.
o Bibliographic search tools.
o Type of study:
o Methodology of bibliographic reviews.
o Methodology of descriptive studies.
o Methodology of experimental studies.
o Writing of the DFP.
o Presentation of the DFP
o Elaboration of the discussion of the DFP.
o Ethical commitment and data protection.
Participation in the online course "Guía de herramientas y pautas para un buen TFG" of the Library of the University of Zaragoza is recommended
4. Academic activities
Theoretical and practical seminars: 20 classroom hours.
Tutoring: 30 classroom hours. The process of elaboration of the work will be presented to the director(s) along the academic year.
A minimum of 3 tutoring sessions will be held for the preparation and defence of the DFP where the process of elaboration of the same will be evidenced, which will be recorded in documents (Annex III of the Degree Final Project Manual).
These tutorials must take place during the academic year.
Student's autonomous work: 100 non-attendance hours. The student will be responsible for all those activities of a non-attendance nature aimed at the preparation and defense of their work.

All the detailed information on the evaluation of the Degree Final Project can be found in the "Manual of the Degree Project in Physiotherapy"", which will be available at the beginning of the term through the web page of the Faculty of Health Sciences
